ANASTASIA – a Musical Extravaganza 2013



Part of the “ANASTASIA – a Musical Extravaganza” by the Cambridge Public School, at Jyothi Nivas College Auditorium, Koramangala on 23rd and 24th February 2013. A synopsis of Anastasia is, in 1916 - Tsar Nicholas II hosts a ball at Catherine Palace to celebrate the Romanov tricenternnial. His mother, the  Dowager Empress Marie Feodornvna is visiting  from Paris and gives a music box and necklace inscribed with the words”Together in Paris”. The ball is interrupted by Grigori Rasputin a sorcerer who was banished by the Tsar for treason. Only Marie and Anastasia are able to escape. They reached to moving train but only Marie could climbs abroad while Anastasia falls, hitting her head on the platform. And ten years later Russia under communist rule and Marie has publicly   
and finally Anastasia reaching to Marie. It was a wonderful experience performing on the stage this 3 hours film and I thank dear Principal, my class teacher, Director – Music, Director-choreography, supporters of stage-lighting, background music, score and theater support their whole support.
